Hello.
I am looking for a small (1-2 once) opaque (not clear) hummingbird feeder.
Does anyone know where I can find such a feeder?
Thanks.

Well, I managed to find some small feeders by googling, but opacity is not a feature of hummer feeders, it appears. I suspect this is because the birds are clever enough to register the presence or absence of sugar water in the feeders by looking for the waterline, and/or because the humans want to be able to see when the feeder needs refilling.

This one at the top of the page of which they have only one left to sell looks as though one of the bottles might be the size you want, but you'd probably have to paint the outside of it with nail polish or something to make it opaque:

2 ozs cobalt blue glass: http://tinyurl.com/3oc4cp
Can't really tell the size, but it's ruby red glass and looks as though each cherry is pretty small. You could use just one somewhere. Not entirely opaque but perhaps as opaque as you're going to find: http://tinyurl.com/4assuc
There are links to more websites selling hummer feeders on the above page.
Aha! I finally found a truly opaque feeder -- see 2nd photo in right-hand column. Holds up to 4 ozs, though.

The above website also has red flower-shaped feeding tubes lower down in the left-hand column if you want to consider making your own small, opaque hummer feeder out of an opaque glass bottle or ceramic mini flower vase or something.
This website has hummingbird feeder stoppers for sale:

As a matter of curiosity, why do you want your feeder to be so small and opaque? Are you thinking of secreting it in some foliage to attract hummers to photograph?
