Attaching Images?

Does one need permission to attach/embed images into a post?

I looked in the FAQ and it said look for the "Manage Attachments" button, which I am familiar with from another forum, but did not see that button here.:(

Since we have a limited amount of file space, I didn't want to encourage photographers to use it as a free space for storing photographs. Thus, only the admin (that's me) has permission to attach files -- I may be the only one who can see that "Manage attachments" button -- or else, you see it only when you click on Reply to Thread rather than Quick Reply.

Since you have your photos on Flickr, though, you can embed them in posts -- there's a post in the Admin's Corner (the forum just above this one) that tells how to do it. I guess I should change the wording of the FAQ to send people to that post, huh?

I understand your storage problem, but who posts all the photos I see? They are from different people and I suspect not attached by you. I must be missing something here. Help please.
