Madeline Shine passed away Sunday, January 28 at 11:30 a.m. Madeline was a wonderful, caring person and a passionate birder. She served on the board of Audubon Dallas/Dallas County Audubon Society for many years, both as President and in other capacities.
She was also my friend, especially as she also attended my church, and was, until her death yesterday, our oldest Parishioner. Madeline was the zone leader on my very first Christmas Bird Count.
The funeral/Requiem Mass will be held on Thursday, February 1, at 10:00a.m., with a reception to follow, at St. Francis Church, 3838 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas.
St. Francis is located about two blocks east of Marsh Lane, immediately next door to Fire Station #35.
