Nice boardwalks, lookouts, blinds, clean bathrooms, big alligators and cool birds. The visitor's center was closed, but a whiteboard outside posted recent sightings and orientation brochures/maps were available.

Birds of prey - white-tailed kite, crested caracara, red-tailed hawk, northern harrier, kestrel, loggerhead shrike, turkey vulture, and other unidentified hawks

Ducks/geese - flocks of snow geese in the hundreds and about thirty greater white-front geese. Blue-winged teal, pintails, northern shoveller, moorehen, mallards, gadwall, lesser scaup.
