Whiterock Horned Grebe & Little Gull

I drove down to Whiterock over lunch to look for the Lesser Black-backed Gull and Horned Grebe. I did find two grebes in the south end of the lake, but I got blanked on the Gull. While I did not find the targeted gull, I did relocate a Little Gull that everyone has been seeing the last two weeks. There were hundreds of Bonaparte's working the middle of the south end. The Little Gull would appear from time to time.

WOW i guess rare gulls arent all that rare...you just have to know what to look for..

so its a good time even in the middle of the day to see gulls and waterfowl there?
