Young Red-shouldered Hawks--left the nest

I suspected a pair of these had a nest nearby and for a couple of days the adults were screaming through the air. They would land in a tall tree and take off, again and again.

Late this evening, I found that two young ones were hunting in my yard....and not with a lot of coordination yet.:)

Light is at a premium due to the canopy of trees around here but got a couple of fair photos using higher ISO.

Great shots. Leave me your address I will be there to photograph them as well. ;) Actually, today I am heading to the coast. I hope to bring back some pics of some birds I have never seen before.

Thanks Maestro. If you check the forum while gone, hope you see a bunch of new ones. Maybe you can find a Caracara...I saw two different ones this morning, miles apart.
