Here's Chris's trip list for this morning's walk. He lists only 3, but personally I saw at least 15 Great Egrets fly over, many of them during my Betsy-come-lately walk up to the top of the dam to join the rest of you, and some of us saw a Turkey Vulture. Nancy and I heard several of the rattle calls of a Belted Kingfisher after Chris left. We're expecting photos of the Sedge Wren and assorted other birds from Allison eventually, which I'll add to the thread when she sends me the links.

I got this nice email from Alison (only one L in her name it turns out) with seven photos, but rather than upload them again to the internet in order to get URLs for them that would let me embed them here, I think I'll just let everyone use her link to the photos she posted on her Facebook page. There are more of them, they're public so anyone can see them, you can click on them to make them larger, and there are more of them.

It was really fun to meet you all today. I'm attaching a few shots from this morning to this email.

More from today can be seen at: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3064700224646.2156513.1477721785&type=3&l=5e97f86741

I had a great time and hope to see you all again soon.

All the best,
Alison

Alison, it was great to have you along and many thanks for sharing your photos with us! See you next time!
