I got a chance to look for birds at some of my favorite sites in Lewisville (southern Denton County) for the first time since I moved to Fort Worth last September. The conditions were mostly cloudy, warm, and muggy, with standing water in many locations after several straight days of heavy rains. I encountered 78 species in all.
