Anyone wanting to see a map of all this year's CBC count circles for the US, including Alaska and Hawaii, will find a downloadable Google Earth file that shows them, created by Audubon, here:
http://birds.audubon.org/documents/kmz-file-christmas-bird-count-circles-us-google-earth
Running your cursor over the circles produces their abbreviated names --clicking on a name provides a box with the full name and coordinates of the circle. Zooming in on the map results in overlapping names being displayed, which is difficult to read.
I think it works best to open Google Earth first and then open this file, which will cause Google Earth to put it where it can find it again after you save everything to "My places."
