The field trip to Village Creek Drying Beds scheduled for Saturday, March 31 has been postponed.
I've been holding off on making this call, but I just checked the hourly forecast again on Accuweather and it looks like it's supposed to be raining/thunderstorming in the 6 a.m., 7 a.m., and 11 a.m. and noon hours. If it was forecast to clear off nicely after 8 a.m., it would be a different story and I would try to start at 10 a.m. instead of 8 a.m., but it just doesn't look good.
I'm going to tentatively reschedule this for May 12th, the first date I have open on the field trips schedule. Please keep an eye on the Audubon Dallas website on the Field Trips page and the Bird Talk forum for updates.
