Hi,

Bob and I just bought a house on three acres in Cedar Hill. I need help birdscaping it. Because of my severe allergies, it would probably be best if anyone knows a landscaping company that specializes in designing for nature. I found one on the internet but would like some options.

I am very excited to be getting out of an urban neighborhood. On the propery, I have already seen or heard Roadrunner, Chimney Swift, Cardinal, large Chickadee flock, Tufted Titmouse, and even White-eyed Vireo.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Sheryll

Petal Pushers Nursery in Cedar Hill on Strauss Rd. is an excellent source for information and for plants. Started years ago by Rosa Finsley, landscape designer of the first order, it was called Kings Creek then. Some of the same staff is still with the new ownership. Susan

I met with Val, who is their naturalist/landscaper today. She was VERY excited to learn that a birder has moved into the neighborhood. I was very excited to learn that they have a supply of Fruiting Mulberry Trees and Turk's Cap.

I will call the others as well, but Petal Pushers was on my way today.

Thanks!
Sheryll

I just found out that Petal Pushers closed last week. :( Very sad, but will now pursue other resources.
