Big Day Challenge

The Big Day Challenge with Fort Worth is almost here. I'm pumped and can't wait to get started. Are there any groups starting on Friday or more specifically Friday evening to pick up all the area owls?

Polly and I (Susan) are starting at 3. Have prospects of both a Gr. Horned and Barred Owls in our Northwest part of Dallas County.

I understand that as of this evening we still need Barred Owl and Eastern Screech.

Heard Barred Owl barking and hoo-hoo-hoo-hooing in hatchery at 6:32 yesterday evening. It was over in the part of the hatchery woods nearer the spillway -- to see it you'd probably want to be on that southernmost path in the hatchery, nearer the damside end of it.
