But yes, Catherine. In fact, Baltimore Orioles nest around White Rock Lake -- I've seen their pendulous nests. A few years ago there was a pair that nested in a catalpa tree by the public phone at the end of the row of paddleboat houses on West Lawther.

Yes, if you are lucky! When they are migrating through. I saw a male and female Orchard Oriole last Spring at Spring Creek Forest Preserve in Garland. But I only saw them one day - checked again the next day and they were gone. I can post pictures if anyone is interested. Yes, I WILL be looking for them again this spring!
